How to Measure
Female Measurements
To ensure your best possible fit, we have standardized sizing, so you can shop with confidence. Take a minute and follow our measurement guide to find your best fitting size.
First, take your measurements. Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug, not tight. Then, compare them with the charts. If between sizes, order the next larger size. It's that simple!

Bust: Holding the tape with both hands, keep the measuring tape behind your back, bring it up under the armpits, measure over the fullest part of your bust, join one end of the tape to a measurement point on the tape, finishing at the center of the chest.
Hip: With feet together, measure around the fullest part of the body at the top of the legs. Please note: hips are about 8" below natural waist. (Petite 7.5" below; Regular 8" below; Tall 8.5" below.)
Natural Waist: Bend to one side-the natural crease that appears is your waist. Stand straight, measure around natural waistline, careful not to pull the tape too tight.
Length: Depending on the style and type of dress, measure from the high point of your shoulder (A), down to the bottom (B), (C), or (D), the approximate dress length desired in comparison to your body measurement and the size chart.
Inseam: Measure from the inside crotch seam to the hem.
Male Measurements
To determine your size just follow these simple instructions.
Chest: Holding the tape with both hands, keep the measuring tape behind your back, bring it up under the armpits, measure at the fullest part of the chest, join one end of the tape to a measurement point on the tape, finishing at the center of the chest.
Neck: Measure around the base of your neck.
Natural Waist: Bend to one side-the natural crease that appears is your waist. Stand straight, measure around natural waistline, careful not to pull the tape too tight.
Measuring Tips

- For the best results, take your measurements over your undergarments (do not measure over shirts and trousers).
- If you fall between two sizes, order the next size larger or smaller based on the particular garment or the type of fit you prefer.
- Ask a friend to help you out. It may be easier and more accurate.
- Since measuring tapes tend to slide easily and are difficult to keep level, try using a piece of string or yarn. Place your fingers at the start and end points, keeping the string level to the floor. Then, measure the distance between the two points.
- Make a note of your measurements so you don't forget them.
- Print the size charts so that you can refer to them while you're shopping.

How To Measure
Kids grow fast! Children grow so quickly from the last time they are measured, so before you order, take a few minutes and use our handy size charts to determine the correct size for your child. How to measure for kids' clothes:
- Height:Stand straight and tall, in stocking feet, against the wall. Place a cardboard, hardcover book, or tissue box on top of head, parallel to the floor and mark wall. With child away from wall, measure from mark to floor.
- Chest/Bust:Stand normally, position hands on side hip. Measure over underwear at the fullest part of chest/bust under armpits. Keep tape snug, not tight.
- Waist:Stand normally, position hands below side hips.Measure over underwear at the smallest part of waist. Keep tape snug, not tight.
- Seat/Hip:Stand normally. Measure over underwear at the fullest part of seat/hip. Keep tape snug, not tight.
A few pointers:
- Buy by size, not by age.
- Measure with soft tape measure, not with rulers.
- Measurements are in inches or centimeters. Weight are in pounds or kilograms.
- If measurements are a combination of sizes, order the size of the largest measurement.
